At HeroCoders, we help people manage their work by creating great apps for everyday tasks. As a Platinum Atlassian Partner, we make tools that are used by over 50 000 companies worldwide. We have a million active users and ~50% annual growth. While we are proud of those accomplishments, much remains to be done. We are looking for a well-rounded developer with leadership spark, to help one of our teams grow and succeed.


We are a small team of 16 people working remotely from around the world. Our founders were software developers, even now, 10 of us are developers. Last year we started building a customer support team which has now grown to 3 people. In less than a year, we’ve seen a tremendous impact on the quality of the support our customers receive. We also hired our first product manager at the end of 2022. We are building new teams to ensure continuous growth and improvement in our products and in the service our customers receive.

Who are we looking for:
You’re a software developer with over five years of professional and you’ve spent at least three of those years working with React and NodeJS. You aim to write easy-to-maintain software. Besides technical skills, you get along with people well and servant leadership is close to your heart. You strive to help your team reach the next level of cooperation, productivity, and motivation. You care about your team as much as about the results you achieve together. This role is not about technical excellence, it’s about helping your team become better every day.

You want to know how customers use products and features that you create.
You want to be self-sufficient.
You research solutions to problems.
You work as part of a team helping others solve problems, pitching in on code reviews and support, and asking for help when needed.
You communicate fluently in English

Bonus points if you:
You are expert in React and other frontend technologies
Have deep experience with Atlassian Ecosystem
Have good communication skills
Understand modern SaaS stack.

You will be responsible for:
Working hand in hand with Issue Checklist team and delivering great product
Cooperating with Product Owner, Support and Marketing
Helping to run plannings, retrospectives and other team rituals
Removing any organisational roadblocks
Taking care of the team

Note: You will work with a team of people located in Europe, Canada, and central Africa. We work synchronously, so a minimum 4h overlap with UTC +1 is necessary regardless of where you live.


What we offer:
Salary: 85-100k USD annually or if you are from Poland 30k-35k net + VAT PLN monthly salary with a long-term B2B contract
