Sr Network Engineer with DevOps

About the project
We are a team of Developers, Network Engineers and QAs working on cutting edge solutions for MSPs and Enterprise markets in the security domain. We focus on a development of the Virtual Firewalls orchestrator software, which helps customers automatically deploy, scale and optimize virtual network firewalls.
Our Engineers are involved in the whole product life cycle: design, demo, PoC, deployment.
You will join a team of experts who are truly game-changers and have completed numerous networking projects, cloud or infrastructure automation and monitoring.
Things to know:
The development team who cooperate closely with the product owner
We work in a multi-vendor environment
We use KANBAN or SCRUM methodology
The client is based in Canada
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.

Your responsibilities
Designing and implementing new virtualization & networking solution
Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Automating deployments and day-to-day operations, ie. server installation and configuration
Troubleshooting existing solutions, identifying opportunities for improvements and working with product owners to implement them
Taking part in technical design discussions
Supporting teammates, ie. providing help with developing automated testing capabilities
Documenting designed solutions

Our requirements
Good knowledge of virtualization, especially KVM, Libvirt or VMware ESXi (vSphere, vCenter)
Knowledge of automation and CI/CD tools (for example: Ansible, GitLab CI)
Good knowledge of Git
Good knowledge of Linux OS
Knowledge of Docker
Knowledge of Python and/or Bash
Communication skills, proficiency in English (min. B2 level), ability to collaborate on technical solutions

Optional

Knowledge of networks (switching, routing)
Experience in network troubleshooting and automation
Experience in SR-IOV
Experience in DPDK
Knowledge of Kubernetes
