Senior Python Backend Engineer (MedTech)

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:
•5+ years of professional experience in building Python-based web applications;
•Mastery of Python, with a real comfort working in the language;
•Solid hands-on experience with microservices;
•Understanding of API Gateway or Service Mesh concept such as Istio;
•Proven skills with database technologies (such as Postgres, Snowflake or Oracle);
•Commercial experience with one of the major cloud vendors such as AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure;
•Docker and Kubernetes experience;
•Experience in optimizing the framework for performance under complex and diverse workloads;
•Self-directed and enjoys identifying the most important problems to work on;
•Highly motivated, taking ownership of complex problems, including willing to acquire the knowledge you don't have to get the job done;
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence requirements;
•Advanced English (C1) language skills for smooth collaboration;
•Located in Poland for easy signing of cooperation offer and occasional team meetings.
•Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:
•DAPR framework (Distributed Application Runtime);
•Kubernetes - HELM, ArgoCD etc.;
•Familiarity with engineering best practices such as planning epics, writing many kinds of tests and developing CI/CD pipelines;
•Interest in Life Sciences or Drug Discovery;
•BSc degree in Computer Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant field.
